this is why i don't buy toys

She actually crafted the first two toys all by herself. Or, should I say, repurposed. The last is my favorite picture from the last few months.

Note: I heard back from the dermatologist's office today & Kate's growth was a calcification with a fancy latin name that I wasn't able to write down BECAUSE I was just walking into school & my phone was dying. They want to see her in 6 weeks just to make sure it's all gone, but it's a completely benign, non-worrisome thing! Praise the Lord & thanks for your prayers.

YAY!!! I love the last pic too. So funny about the first one. She is quite creative. Kids always seem to gravitate towards the non-toys as their favorite playthings.

When Nathan was little, two of his favorite toys were a plastic spoon and a Dr. Pepper bottle with Cheerios inside. It kinda makes me sad that Caroline hasn't adopted some of those things...but then, we are overflowing with toys. We've actually discussed getting rid of most of them.

Yes, I have to agree about the toy comment. Charis seems to like about everything except for her baby toys that are supposed to encourage growth, stimulate, etc. :)

I was so excited to hear that the growth was nothing serious. Praise God, and thank you for keeping us updated!!!
