P.S. I had a great first Mother's Day. The Bailey/Moseley/Johnson/Auton men planned & executed a wonderful meal on Sunday while the ladies lounged in the Bailey's new pool. It was completely delicious! Also, Josh gave me a Gift Certificate for an Anti-Stress Treatment at the Chateau Elan Spa. I can't tell you how much I need an anti-stress treatment.

So cute! I'm sure the spa treatment will be fabulous...I'm a bit jealous!
I want you to bring that "real" camera over to get some pictures of Lydia for the photo collage. Bethany gave me a few last weekend that she had taken and the quality is just sooo much better!
I'm glad you had a good first Mother's Day! It sounds like fun.
I'm a little jealous that you took pictures with your "real" camera. I have been thinking I need to do that with Caroline...but I haven't touched mine for over a year now.
Jen, what sort of collage are you doing?
This is a totally random observation but I find it interesting how completely different Lydia and Kate look. Since both sets of parents are sibilings I wondered back before Kate came if she and Lydia might look more alike than most cousins. Also, I love Kates big eyes - she always looks so alert.
Ok, I'm sure I'm missing something here, but what is a "real" camera? (And I cannot even blame it on being pregnant anymore.) I always thought of those as being film cameras but you said you took the pictures that morning and that just would not sound right. Despite my ignorance, the pictures are great!
Jen -- no problem on the pics of Lydia. It would much easier to have a photographer & a facilitator. It was hard to do with Kate. I ended up being a shadow in several of the pics, but thankfully, I was able to crop my shadow out!
Renee -- real camera is a film SLR camera, but Wolf Camera kindly does 1 hour (ish) photo and amazingly, I was able to drop them off and pick them up while I was out doing errands. I even paid for them to put the pictures on a CD so I could edit them to my heart's desire.
Yea, we spoil our kid with the old fashioned stuff. Actually, it's just that I don't have fancy digital cameras like some of the rest of you out there (cough, cough, Steph, Renee, Jennifer M, cough). I'll just rediscover the love of film, and that's alright with me. Just scrolling down and comparing some of the pictures made me realize what a disservice I shall do to my family if I convert completely over to my digital camera.
By the way, have any of you ever taken any photography classes around this area?
