By the by, NiNi has graduated to Bitny. . still quite cute. I think I have even heard Lydia "try" to say Elizabeth. She is continually reforming some of her mispronunciations, although Mima has stuck. I suppose it's because we reinforce it by using the same name.
Josh recently acquired a "new to us" grill, which has inspired many grilled dinners. If anyone has any fabulous yet remarkably easy grill recipes we'd love to hear them. The really neat thing is that the gas grill does not intimidate me as the charcoal once did. Also, we have placed it up on the deck, so it's convenient and easy for me to get it going by myself. The grill is no longer just a man's world.

That picture of Emma is a hoot!
We really like to do fresh summer vegetables on the grill. A little olive oil, salt and pepper and you're good to go. My goal most summer evenings is to get all of the food on the grill so I don't have to heat up the house with the stove.
Does Kate have really long legs? It looks like it in the picture.
I lost the battle when it came to grills. I was all for a gas one so I could grill all I wanted, but Michael won with a charcoal monster that intimidates me and that I have yet to try by myself. I must say, though, the taste is very different.
Our absolute favorite meal to grill is shish kebabs. Cut up chicken breasts, squash, purple onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and whatever else fresh you might light. Marinade in Zesty Italian dressing for a couple of hours and then place on skewers. Sometimes we skip the skewer part and place in grill baskets. The boys even love this meal...hot off the grill.
All the girls are absolute cuties!
I told you my baby was a good eater...
Yup, I would say that her legs are fairly long. For instance, some of her outfits from 0-3 months outfits were outgrown in the pant length before the shirt length. :-) That she does NOT get from her mom.
Thanks for the grill ideas. I have never grilled vegetables on the grill. I guess Josh has done shishkebobs at his parents house (it's his birthday meal, usually), but we've never done it at home. I find that quite intriguing that you make most of your meals on the grill Lisa. Are you allowed to have one on the deck of your apt? Here in GA, we were never allowed to do so.
We are allowed gas grills (thank goodness because I'm terrified of the charcoal grills, too). Squash, corn on the cob, carrots (chopped then wrapped in foil), potatoes, aspargus all work great on the grill.
Oh, and weber.com has some great recipes and types.
