Hello all Peanut & Lydia fans!
I have had a series of pretty good days followed by sort of ghoulish nights. The night before last I lay awake for perhaps an hour from 3:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. sort of aimlessly mind wandering whilst trying to find some comfortable, Mr. Sandman sleep position. It's not that I was UNcomfortable, it's that my body was not be swayed into sleep again. I finally abandoned our bed and moved to the guest bedroom. I was feeling really self conscious about flipping over for the thirtieth time and just HOPING that Josh wasn't being disturbed by all of this. So, yesterday, I took no wonderful 2 hour day time nap and I went to bed armed with 4 pillows. Unfortunately, most of my pillows are full size, although I don't NEED them to be qu
ite THAT big. In our double bed, this doesn't leave much room for Josh. The sad thing is, I'm not even that HUGE (at all) yet, so I can just imagine what sleeping will be like in the late months. This morning I woke up trying to imagine some crafty way to halve the size of a pillow without losing all of the stuffing, etc. Well, enough about me.Lydia's birthday was last week, and we celebrated with a big bang. Most of you, I'm sure, have already looked at the pics on Jen's blog, but I have a few unique shots, so I'll post 'em.

I'm taking it a change of clothes was in order after the cake eating? She really looked like she put her whole body into it.
How's your morning sickness? Not having been pregnant I'm not speaking from experience but I think I'd rather have a bit of insomnia than morning sickness. I hope you find a comfortable position for both yours and Josh's sake! :-)
Hey Kelley, you get a prize for reading the blog almost the second I finished it! Bravo!
Morning Sickness: I am still throwing up at least once a day, but usually it's right before I go to bed. Every other day when I wake up I'll have dry heaves or a little barfing. That's not as consistent. During the day, my stomach takes on its own personality -- I call it "the gymnast." It likes cartwheels and things like that.
Lydia's Outfits: Lydia's costume changes are great. On her actual birthday, she got her little outfit so dirty, that we had to plunge her into an impromptu bath here at my house. I couldn't bear to put her dirty outfit back on, so I got one my little sleep t-shirts and put it on her. I had to tie up the back like a kimono with a twist tie. It was hilarious. Unfortunately, we didn't capture that moment. On her birthday, she was also SOO dirty after cake fiesta that we plunged her directly into the little pool she has on the back deck. She then changed into jammies for her present opening.
My very good friend had horrible morning sickness for the first 6 months - so much so that she had to be admitted to the hospital because she had lacerated her esophogas. She told me it just became a normal part of her day to be sick and it sounds as it's somewhat the same with you. I guess I'll understand once I get to experience that joyous part of pregnancy!
Also - I have an automated tool that checks the blogs I read every 15 minutes so I'm always up to date! :-) I sound like such a nerd....
I think for the sake of your marriage you should just go ahead and buy a bigger bed. We have a queen bed, and if I got any bigger, Brian would be finding another place to sleep =). Just go ahead and get a body pillow. It might help lessen the number pillows you need.
Hey Liz, what are your plans for the summer?
Oops. That was me. :~o I just wanted to make known my admiration for that kid’s ability to put away her dessert!
Wow. Not only does your little baby look like a peanut, but it—can I say “it”? Heshe? Shem?—looks remarkably like A BABY! I think technology has defiantly improved the concept of the ultrasound. No longer is it The Blur that everyone is raving about in the pictures—like in my mommy’s pregnant days—but I could see the leg, hands, and nose!
Thanks Brittny for unlocking the secret to Stephanie's use of "shem." I just chalked it up to a typo or something. I get it. Well, the use of the word Peanut is intermingled with bambino and chip to avoid using "it" and/or calling it by the wrong gender. Although, I will admit, my tongue does often choose a he or she pronoun.
I'm the sort of hombre who loves to try unprecedented things. Presently I'm fabricating my private pv panels. I am doing it all alone without the help of my men. I am using the internet as the only path to acheive this. I came across a very amazing site which explains how to contruct photovoltaic panels and so on. The internet site explains all the steps involved in photovoltaic panel building.
I'm not exactly sure about how correct the information given there iz. If some experts over here who had xp with these works can have a peak and give your feedback in the site it will be great and I'd highly treasure it, cauze I really passion solar panel construction.
Tnx for reading this. U people are great.
