C-SECTION, ahhhh!
That's how I felt when, in less than 4 minutes, I went from thinking generally about c-section, to having mine actually scheduled for Thursday, December 21st, 7:30 a.m. :-@ I had a momentary shock, but have recovered my equanimity. So, we know little Kate's birthday (unless she decides to a. turn or b. come BEFORE Thursday) will be in one week. Pretty amazing. I can't wait until she gets here. If you can believe it, it's still a bit unreal that my child will be in my arms very soon. It will be a relief, believe you me, but a bit unreal. Thanks for your prayers, my faithful blogfans, and we still need them! Also, let me know what you think of Katherine Noelle Bailey. . . sound yummy?

So Noelle won out over Savannah. I do think it's beautiful. Whether it's a c-section or not we'll be praying for you, Kate, & Josh. I look forward to seeing pictures so if Josh isn't in the know about how to post, make sure to educate him before the big day!
Btw, which hospital are you delivering at?
I think the name you guys picked is very pretty! We will be praying for you! I am so excited for you guys that you will have her before Christmas. We can't wait to see pictures.
Oh, that is so exciting, Liz. What a wonderful Christmas present. :) We'll be praying for all of you and that everything goes well.

Ok...this is my fourth try at commenting, but I think it might actually work this time.
Kate almost made it to share her birthday with Nathan. His birthday is the 22nd. At least you have a little more warning that she'll be around for Christmas than we did!
I think you (and Josh) have selected a very lovely name.
I can't wait to see pictures!! I agree that you'll have to make sure Josh knows how to post...or get Jen to put some pictures up for you.
I think it's very wise that you are going with Noelle instead of Katherine "Just in time to be a 2006 Tax Deduction" Bailey.
You don't know me. I found your blog through Jen Johnson's blog. Ben and my husband used to work together in Athens and my son was born one week after Lydia was born. My son was delivered via C-section and I just wanted to reassure you that it's not that bad. The recovery is a little different but you still have the same result in the end....a beautiful baby. Best wishes for a safe delivery enjoy that precious baby!

Thanks for everyone's sweet comments. I will have to give Josh a little "tutorial" or maybe I'll just have Jen do it. Sorry to everyone who is having trouble commenting. I got your message, Lisa & Sean!
Funny scare this morning -- I thought I was going into labor. I'll spare you the gory part of the details, but there were also contractions that were pretty regular. They weren't strong enough or regular enough, but they did get me on the phone with midwife and packing my bag! :-) Yikes!
Oh, trust me, Daddy was just trying to sugar coat things for the moment to try to make things a little easier for Caleb. You know if we ever had a girl she'd end up being such a tom boy.
