2 weeks and a half
At her 2 week checkup, Rachel had a great report. She weighed 8 lbs 7 oz & measured 20.75 in long. This puts her way ahead of sister as far as "percentages" go. I just love how newborns grow so much on pure mother's milk! In honor of her turning 2 weeks (and a half), I tried a photo shoot with her this afternoon & had varied results.

Awwww!!! So sweet. I can't stand not seeing you guys! That first pic reminds me a lot of a pic of Lydia at this age. I'll have to find it...
Does Rachel have the crooked pinky, like my girls????

Rachel does not have a prominently crooked pinky like your girls (and Kate, and me, and mom).
And, I do think that Rachel looks WAY more like Lydia than like Kate. I tried to remember Ben's old blog name so I could try & find a similar pic of Lydia, but alas.
correction: I guess her pink is crookeder than I thought. I checked it out on day 1 (with Lydia) and it seemed mostly straight. But, a look at the above pic & then a quick check here at 5:12 a.m. & I THINK her pinky curves in a bit. :-)

She is so precious! And she really does have long fingers. I don't know what Lydia's baby pictures look like, but I definitely think she resembles her now.
