Free bed w/ 2 coats of white paint & a little bit of carpentry repair.
The bookshelf from the "office" re-purposed to provide some MUCH needed storage for Kate's books & toys.
The dresser is really what took up so much of Josh's time. When he bought it, it was light blue & baby blue with some crazy knob design (like, their placement was odd). So, putty, sanding, 2 primer coats + two coats of white paint, plus some new knobs, a new back to the dresser = beautiful kid's dresser that is the PERFECT height and will be great to grow into.
Kate saw me taking pics of her room & wanted to get in on the act.

Oh I love it. Very nice job!
Very nice! And I've very jealous of the free bed. That's just the kind of thing I've been looking for.
What a pretty big girl room.
Wow! It's beautiful!
It looks like Kate is throwing a gang sign! I mean, I know you're near the ATL and all, but seriously, you should get that kid under control.
What a pretty room. Prettier than mine, in fact. Want to help us decorate when we move?
Absolutely stunning! Good work!
Thanks everyone!
Boo- Patrick!
Beth -- my due date is May 17. . .but I prefer to think about it as merely "the middle of May." :-) I have approx one month left!
OH, Ldani -- YES! Could I? In other words. . .WHERE WILL YOU BE?????
I love the pics of Kate in her bed and sledding! Maybe you should study interior decorating and do that instead.
