neat link

I got this link from WORLD magazine. It is a series of 4-D ultrasounds stemming from week 6 to week 40. Really neat! God's ways are so amazing, and it's amazing to see things in ways we weren't able to see before.

Elizabeth,

I love love love the new look. Can you tell me how to do it? I've been wondering and don't know where to look for answers.

It wasn't that difficult, but it's not as easy as choosing one of the templates that blogger has on their site. I just typed in "free blogger templates" into google & many things come up. I chose eblogtemplates b/c the website looked professional and not WEIRD like some of the others. You need to look for a template made for blogger, not wordpress (another popular bloggin site). It also needs to be an .xml file. I tested the templates on a fake "test" blog that I created on blogspot. . just to see how it would really look & work. I weeded out several this way.
Once you download the template, you'll probably need to decompress it.
I also downloaded (saved) a copy of my old template before I did anything, just to make sure if I mess up, I'd be able to recoup easily.
Under Layout tab on your dashboard, click on Edit Html. There's a section that says Upload a template from a file on your hard drive. Find the file on your computer & upload it. It'll probably give you an error message about some widgets you have on your current template that won't automatically transfer to your new one. Click ok & hope that it works! I had another friend who was inspired after she saw this & had trouble finding a template that worked well for her. Also, some of the templates on the eblogtemplate had very accurate & complete directions, and others had no information at all. Hopefully this helps!

My ticker says I have 230 days to go, and yours says 176. What does this mean?!

It's fixed now. I must have accidentally input an early due date (which you can do if you have a planned c-section, etc. So, it'll still read that you're the correct amt of weeks along, but it will only say you have a shorter amt of days to go.) I had no concept of how many DAYS to go I should have been, so thanks for saving me from 9 months of false hope! I guess I would have noticed when it said I had 30 days to go, but I was only 8 months pregnant!

I was starting to think yours was going to get to be shorter than mine...and I wanted to know the secret.

And as for concept of how many days, I totally wouldn't have a clue if it weren't for the ticker. I had just looked at mine and then saw yours and was truly baffled. I actually did the math to make sure I wasn't crazy!
