Miss Fancy Pants

Post wedding stress syndrome -- is there such a thing? Actually, I believe I had pre wedding stress syndrome (PWS), but am recovering quite nicely. I was "in charge" of decorating the church and reception hall. It was a lot of fun, but there is always that panic that overtakes you and says YOU WILL NOT FINISH IN TIME or YOU WILL NOT HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED. Thankfully, I had a whole army of friends and mostly family to iron tablecloths, drape lace, place centerpieces etc. The reception hall was so gorgeous it needed very little ornamentation. Because the Hall was more beautiful than Becky's home church, they decided to take pictures there. This seemed like a good idea, until 2 minutes before the ceremony when Becky realized she had left her bouquet there. Josh raced back to the Cornelia Community House and retrieved said bouquet. He later said that there was nothing legal about that drive. Twenty five minutes later, the ceremony was able to begin. That was the only real snafu, and it truly wasn't so terrible, except for possibly the pianist who had to replay all of his prelude music. . . several times. The girls looked great, but I didn't get that many pictures. I just decided not to complicate my life by trying to capture every moment. Many thanks to Brittny for taking care of my littlest girl during much of the afternoon and evening.

P.S. YOU CAN CHECK MY MOM'S BLOG FOR MORE STILL PICTURES OF THE WEDDING. YOU CAN SEE THE PRETTY BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES AND SOME CLOSER PICS OF BECKY & ELIAS.

That's a great family photo of you three! Glad all things wedding went well, despite the bouquet incident.

Becky's dress looks very similar to Julie's wedding dress - it's very pretty.

I didn't realize you sang - you did a very nice job. I kept thinking the song sounded familiar and then realized we sang that song in church a few weeks ago.

Lastly, I agree the family picture is very nice - that's one to be framed!

Does Miss Fancy Pants refer to you or Kate? You both look quite fancy, but you seem a little more panty than Kate.

Good point, Lisa. Although, Miss Kate was wearing her dipe which we refer to as Pants, and a cute little diaper cover/bloomers. So, she had her share of fancy pants, too.

This morning as I was checking email, blogs etc., Lydia wanted to see pictures of Kate. Then she mananged to communicate that Pup wanted to see pictures of Kate. She propped him up in front of the computer while I got back to your page. Too funny!
